Job Description

The (un)Common Logic team is currently working remotely during Covid-19 and will always put the safety of our team first. This position will require the applicant to relocate to the Austin area in the future.

(un)Common Logic, an agency specializing in search engine marketing, is looking to hire a Senior SEO Analyst with strong analytical and technical SEO skills. This position will be responsible for supporting the team in pulling and analyzing performance data, assisting with client audits, solving problems, taking actions based upon analysis, and providing any additional support where needed.

Success for the Marketing Analysts for SEO will be measured by:

  • Account performance (site organization, traffic and traffic quality, keyword selection, removal of site errors)
  • Ability to assess and recommend strategy for client campaigns
  • Proficiency in gathering SEO related metrics, proper use of Analytics and SEO tools
  • Shows increasing knowledge and confidence in recommending SEO solutions
  • Ability to provide deliverables for each stage of the SEO process

Responsibilities

  • Execute SEO analyses and create strategic recommendations
  • Data collection including tracking codes and analytics reporting
  • Architectural, technical, and content recommendations
  • Monitor SEO performance by using SEO tools available (Google Analytics, SEOMoz, Ahrefs, STAT Analytics, XML sitemap generators, Screaming Frog, etc.)
  • Conduct complex analyses using all available data resources and tools
  • Conduct SEO technical audits and participate in SEO audit presentations
  • Conduct Google Analytics audits for tracking, data accuracy, and insights
  • Communicate with account managers and clients regarding explanations of SEO strategies, tactics, recommendation deliverables, and performance issues
  • Be a source of SEO expertise to various PPC and SEO account teams as needed
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to inform SEO strategy and communicate these trends to clients and the internal team
  • Be a voice of leadership for the (un)Common SEO team

Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of SEO experience
Exemplary analytical skills and detail orientation
Mastery of key SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
Deep understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager & Search Console
A shared perspective on the “new SEO” with a strong focus on visibility, clicks, engagement, conversion, and ROI
Excellent written and presentation skills
Demonstrated persistence, tenacity, and an ability to overcome obstacles
Likes to work in a fast-moving, yet casual environment
A sense of humor
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now and in future
Minimum Bachelors Degree
