The Boeing Defense Space and Security production engineering organization is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support the Bombers program located in Oklahoma City, OK.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Participate on teams to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines
• Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build
• Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions
• Lead and implement manufacturing plans
• Conduct productability analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements
• Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
• Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule
• Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
• Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems
• Implement lean principles and technologies

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• 5+ years of engineering related experience
• Proficient utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite
• 5+ years of experience with engineering drawings for conformance to materials & process requirements and manufacturing producibility

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Currently have or have held an active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months
• Experience using CATIA
• Experience working with a GOLD Uniface/GOLDesp application computing system

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
